So I have a smart tv and it displays pictures and videos fine via screen mirroring except 4k videos that the phone takes. I understand I dont have a 4k tv but the phone doesnt either. Is there a way to show 4k videos on tv?

You just answered your own question. You don't have a 4k television, so obviously you can't mirror 4k on the TV...

Is there a way to show the videos? Yeah, just not in 4K. You can get a HDMI cable for smartphones that support it. Amazon and eBay have them for cheap. I got one for around $10.

So you don't have a 4K TV but you're complaining about your 1080P TV not displaying 4K?

Just compress your 4K videos for playing on your smart tv with 4K video converter.
