First of all, I am not responsible for any damage that may have been caused physically to your phone, although I will try to help as best as I can.

IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS READ BELOW INSTEAD OF SPAMMING.

ASK FOR PERMISSION if you use this in any of your work! As I've seen this being stolen a few times :( Also don't mirror my files without asking!

Read the end of this post for precautions and instructions.

v2 with stock sound and icon http://d-h.st/Zkj
Stock camera sound http://d-h.st/91l

NOTE: If you cannot download the file/files, then use a different browser or device, the links are perfectly fine! :)

What are the differences between the two edition?
-'Modded Resolution/20MP' edition has the Superior Auto mode modified to take 20.7MP 4:3 photos instead of 8MP 16:9, slightly slower or exactly the same depending on your CPU governor.
-'8MP' edition means that the Superior Auto mode has the default 8MP resolution, still in 16:9.

To-do;
-Enable recording while screen off.
-Possible new entry of 8mp in SA. (Not likely, will need somebody else to do this for me.)
-Increase mic quality.

Changelog;

v2;
- Based on Xperia Z2 camera port thanks to @xperiaz2 !
- Increased video bitrate speed to 40mb/s (You don't want it unnecessarily high.)
- Fixed 100% jpg quality
- Higher memory cap
- Renamed aspect ratio to 15MP and 20MP
- New shutter sound
- New icon
- 45fps after selecting slow motion section in the editor
v3;
-4k recording (without steadyshot)
-120fps timeshift video, fully working
-30fps or 60fps FHD recording in manual mode

v4;
-Changed video bitrate quality
-Updated Timeshift and 4K base to v1.3
-Stock Icon
v5;
-Removed startup sound
-Higher audio bitrate quality
-Fixed naming in zip
v6;
-Rebased the mod from the new firmware .108 (4.4.4)
-Removed logging so it should be slightly faster
-Attempted to reduce start time, however I haven't noticed a difference
-Tried to changed colour format.
-Zipaligned
-Two editions, one with the stock resolutions and the other with the higher ones.
v7;
-Fixed all bugs from v6
-Highest stable audio bitrate
v8;
-~80Mbps bitrate for 4k, 1080p, Timeshift Video.
- NEW; ~75Mbps HDR Video, ~110Mpbs 60FPS FHD, ~80Mbps SA Video.
-Zipaligned
-Modified Mediaprofiles.xml

v9 (Latest which is still in the process of being released.);
-Based off of Z3 Camera port from @tomascus
-Halfed inactivity timeout
-Attempted to consistently get 80Mbps bitrate
-All feautures from previous versions
-Faster operating front facing camera
-Shorter interval of double tap
-Doubled audio sample rate for quicker auto adjustments

I will try to make any requests happen! Enjoy :)

Thanks;
v8 is released. Big thanks to @TheEndHK For the 80mbps bitrate for 4K, Timeshift and FHD recording!
v3 is up! Huge thanks to @lagalaga and the guys who made the port from the Z2!

Installation instructions;

Apparently activating the superuser mod before flashing helps to avoid loose the camera icon! (For older versions, problem is now fixed.)

-Stock or stock based KitKat Xperia Rom
-DEODEXED ROM (.108 is thoroughly tested and is working well except some users have reported that the camera becomes slow after a week or so of usage, a simple remedy is to clear the data stated below.)
(.157 only works with stock, rooted, deodexed Roms, so custom roms have been reported to not work anymore, this presumably is to do with the new USM port that's trending since it only just stopped working.)
-Install Xposed framework; http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.robv.android.xposed.installer
-Install supseruser mod by Serajr http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.serajr.xperia.xposed.kk (Preferably, use the patched services.jar from; http://xdaforums.com/xperia-z1/general/superuser-mod-collection-request-files-t2859248 and DELETE Serajr's module.)
-Activate module and reboot
-Potentially, wipe cache, dalvik and data for the camera app if you run into any problems. You have to wipe the data for the camera app if there was previous data to enable the options for the framerate in manual mode.
If you haven't used the camera app, do so, so it allows for data to be created otherwise you will end up without the stock camera app.
If this happens, you'll have to reflash everything or some have reported flashing cybershot brings the icon back, so always read the instructions to avoid errors and to avoid extra hassle.
Then flash the desired zip!
(Fixed in v7 and above!)
Apps to wipe data for;
Cameracommon
Cameras
Camera extensions
Camera
com.sonymobile.cameracommon.permission 1.0
Video
Dalvik Cache and Cache partition.

If you ever come across any Sony camera apps not working, uninstall all versions using TitaniumBackup and then re-install from market or reflash the package after wiping data of the apps and clearing tombstones.

Instructions for odexed roms(Test if this works?);
- Download:
https://app.box.com/s/vpev3kyx5l36jtwxubgq
https://app.box.com/s/q2cujeihmq8jfc1zpmtu
- Replace with the ones in System/Framework and set permissions to 0644, then reboot.
- Delete the following from System/App;
CameraAddonPermission.odex
CameraCommonPermission.odex
SomcCameraFaceRegistration.odex
SomcCameraWidget.odex
- Delete the following from System/Priv-App
CameraCommon.odex
SemcCameraUI.odex
-Flash my camera mod.

How to install this?

Dude...first of all unlock your bootloader, install a custom recovery and root your device using this tutorial (that is avalaible only if you have an Xperia Z1 Compact, as I do. If not...search on tis forum for the proper custom recovery for your device). After that...you can flash the .zip containing this mod (see op post) or install Xposed Framework and install this module.

    It's fixed in the original thread. I guess you just need to apply those patches.

    Today I'm free, I'll sort out steadyshot, startup sound, double apps, stock icon and sound, increase the quality of audio etc.

    I wish v9 out first(I will stick with KitKat for a long time bcoz I need 4K mod) but since z1 lollipop is coming real fast now, I think Chocolatetrain might cancel the v9 and make v10.

    No, ill make v9 even though lollipop will be out since some people will use older firmware based roms, don't worry though ill still make v10 ?
