[Q] Anyone Update with Sony Bridge for Mac?

Has anyone been able to update using Sony Bridge? I'm trying to update to the latest firmware that I get notified about and the furtherest Bridge gets is "talking to update server"

I've tried PC Companion with VirtualBox and Windows 8.1 but there seems to be an issue with that as well (constantly saying that windows needs a hotfix).

I updated my z1 with Sony bridge for Mac, all I have for a desktop computer is an old Mac mini running lion, so that's what i used.

Mmm, might just have to see what happens with the next update. I ended up getting annoyed and using our old pc laptop. I wanna get rid of it so I don't want to rely on it.

The previous update was ota so wasn't a problem.
