Umm, whats the point?
Hermes -> Blackstone -> Nexus One / N900 -> Samsung Galaxy S II
Plus too many old ones to list or remember...

The point is getting an overview of serial numbers and the relation to the versions of the Hermes. Further I wonder which series came first are affected by the weak display issue.

If you are really concerned about privacy when pubilcally providing the first five digits of a 12 digit code, you're a freak!

DONATE TO ME
I think he wants just to find which S/N belong to which operators/devices.

There is already some info available on the wiki problems page:

http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index...ermes_Problems

Right now we have this:

Quote:
HT621 - Orange SPV M3100
HT624 - Dopod CHT 9000 / Dopod 838 Pro
HT625 - Dopod CHT 9000 / Dopod 838 Pro
HT626 - Vodafone VPA Compact III & V1605 / O2 XDA trion / HTC TyTN
HT627 - HTC TyTN
HT628 - HTC TyTN
HT630 - HTC TyTN
Instead of posting every S/N, it would be better to complete the info on the wiki problems page table... I will update the wiki with this info too.

I have just managed to register my Orange branded device on the HTC website replacing the HT716 part of the serial number with HT628
