Hello everybody,

I've bought a used Note 2 (GT-N7100) with Android 4.3 with baseband N7100XXUENA3. After 2 days it suddenly showas that no simcard was inserted. I checked the golden pins andchecked if my simcard was still working in other phones and it is. I went to the phone repair store and they said i should try a software update so i updated it to Android 4.4 Kitkat with baseband N7100DDUFND1. Still the same problem! I was thinking of replacing the sim card reader (only costs 40 $) but i am not 100% sure it is hardware related, Is there another solution? Thnx in advance

How dis you update? I'd recommend flashing stock through odin before you spend any money see if it helps. Also what does your phone say about baseband? Efs could have got corruptedI doubt it's that but worth a check first
