Having an issue with S-Off. Help please?

OP niphoet

I did a stupid thing: I unlocked my AT&T m7 (which I thought also made it S-OFF). I then installed a recovery and wiped the phone. After CM11 wouldn't install I realized that the phone was still S-ON. I have no OS on it to boot into. Any ideas on how I can get an HTC ROM on there so I can run the revone and grant it S-OFF? Thanks in advance!

Well if you have a custom recovery, just flash any rom. Or did I misunderstand something?

I can't transfer a ROM (CM11, Viper, etc) to the device. I can't get ADB sideload to work. I've installed the universal adb drivers and no dice.

Ah okay. When you connect your phone to your computer in recovery, what does "adb devices" give you? Nothing?

If even after re-flashing the TWRP.img it doesn't work, I would just do an RUU and go from there. Bad thing about not having an SD card slot

I've tried RUU but it keeps failing. Can you recommend a specific RUU to try?
