As I get a Galaxy Gear in a few days I'm wondering what possibilities there are to fiddle around with the Gear and an Windows Phone device.

What I'm wondering about:
- is it possible to create an application which is basically the same like Samsung's gear manager? (Especially for Windows Phone devices)
- Can we just interact over bluetooth with the gear from every bluetooth device which support the required protocols? (To achieve what the goal of interacting with the gear from other smartphones.)
- is it possible to create a custom rom for the gear (a null derivative?) which is especially built for Windows Phone and deeply integrates with Cortana services?

On the Windows Phone side I know it's possible to interact with external bluetooth devices. Whatsoever, most of the questions are on the gear side of this project.

If you can shine your light on this, that'd be awesome!

- good luck with no sdk available
- it should still connect as a regular Bluetooth headset
- null is just stock with a couple of extra features builtin (none of which have to do with non-touchwiz compatibility)
