I keep getting an E: Error executing binary in zip '/sdcard error. Anyone know what to do?
Update: I'm going to attempt getting back to 4.4.4 and try flashing the zip from there. Will work on it tomorrow

As this is based on stock and not sense what do the speakers sound like as on other roms they are to loud and sound as if the are going to blow?

Just trying out the most recent version and I'm having issues placing any calls. Also I can't send text messages either. Any help would be cool, maybe I missed something.

WiFi Calling

I didn't see anything about WiFi calling in the thread. Is it possible to add it back? APK or a flashable zip?

Thanks!

I have same issue. OP now reads...
...does anyone know which one works with V4?

I use PA GApps for Lollipop and have no issues. Make sure to get the newest from the PA GApps thread.

That's not to say Slim GApps don't work. I am sure they do if you install the correct one for the version of Android you are using.

hm, i think the download link changed. when i click on milestone 3.2, i get nothing but an empty page (it literally says empty on the page).

but doing some digging i found a different place to download it http://www.drdevs.com/devs/teamliquid/Milestone/HTC_One_M8_Unified/
nightly link seems to be 'empty' as well. i guess this is the correct one for that http://www.drdevs.com/devs/teamliquid/Nightly/HTC_One_M8_Unified/

according to this:
I have updated the op for the lollipop nightlys and the new thread format, m8 is unified so any build for any variant (other then the dual-sim variant) will work
so seems like the universal one is for all the htc one m8 devices :)

edit: I tried milestone 3.2 and my camera is upside down. I'm not sure if this is a known bug or not. I'll try the nightly and see if there is any difference.

    Dynamic F-Sync
This is a goodie by faux123, so all credits go to him for creating this unique feature !

Many kernels just disable synchronous writes to file to speed up system. While this works neatly, it is also dangerous as processes believe that file writes are actually synced to disk (or mmc media in our case) while this is not yet true ! The gain is a noticeably smoother user experience, but the risk of doing so is to have a corrupted filesystem if the device crashes, user pulls battery, battery fully depletes ... so that the device is turned off unexpectedly. To allow for the benefit, but to minimize the risk, faux123 created dynamic fsync, which while the screen is on, will defer file sync temporarily, but when screen gets turned off, a flush is called to synchronize all outstanding writes keeping your data safe.

    SLIMBus OverClocked
This means SLIMbus will use its maximum potential to give the best audio quality for the hardware. Takes advantage of both hardware and the mods from zeroinfinity, also opening the door for more things that were previously limited by this. Researched and experimented by ZeroInfinity and Poondog

5/22 build has the major bug fixed which was the data partition was getting corrupted after force restarting, the only remaining one is the cpu cores being stuck at max, we have a work around for the time being.

Flash this kernel AFTER you have flashed the rom and booted up once it is based on the LiquidSmooth Kernel but with some extras

One other minor bug is voice wakeup force closes from time to time it will be removed in the next build.
