I'm having problems with my root on the Canadian model of the S5. My phone is for sure rooted but only some apps that I grant root permission to actually get it. For example, Power Toggles gets the root access that it's granted but GameCIH doesn't. Anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it?

Sorry, should have included that I'm using SuperSU already. I flashed superuser via zip file anyways. I tried different ROMs that were prerooted but the same thing happens still.

hmmm, try disabling knox? I heard a few people say that knox interferes with root, not TOO sure about it. But worth a try i guess
