I just downloaded and installed FBreader 1.9.5 and finally have a working installation that allows the "search" function without crashing, all the other versions I tried crashed when searching through a book.

FBreader dev uses a NST himself and has posted here before. Any requests posted here might be read by him. FBreader is my favorite android reader on all devices for long txt files, good options & fast.
