[Q] Flashtool won't flash old Kernel

Hi
i'm trying to root my locked phone, but i'm stuck with flashing a old kernel.

Android Version: 4.1.2
FW: 12.0.A.2.254.
Flashtool: 0.9.16
Win 8.1
Flashmode and Fastboot drivers installed
Adb driver installed with Adb Driver installer 1.0 (adbdriver.com)

I follow this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2405933

i'm stuck at the first step: Flash old Kernel -> 12.0.A.1.257
The Error i get:

No final verification is aktivated. i also tried flashtool 0.9.11.
i don't know what's the problem. don't want to unlock bootloader because i want a TA backup.
i hope someone can help me.

Try to download the file again yours is broken/corrupted

I downloaded the file again and have the same issues. the md5 sum is also alright. i really don't know what to do.

Maybe a bad FW file? Maybe try one from another source

I tried different sources, all of them are the same file with the same md5 sum. is it possible to flash a complete old FW? (not only the kernel)

Yes, but you won't be able to root the .254 FW then, because when you go back to .254 you'll have to flash system too, which then eliminates your root acces

hmmm i see, what could be reason for the error? driver problem? i tried different cables. should i try older flashtool version?

If you have the latest version of flashtool, nothing should be going wrong. As your error lies in loader.sin I've no idea what it means but I don't think it's a driver problem, but try anyway to be sure (:

Remove Flashtool and drivers. Reboot computer.. Reinstall again.. Reboot again and try again.

i don't know how to remove the drivers but i reinstalled flashtool:

i removed flashtool - reboot - install flashtool - reboot - installed flashmode and fastboot drivers - reboot- tried to flash = same error.
when i click the flash button the device is not connected. flashtool ask than to connect the device in flashmode ( hold volume down button and connect with the usb cable)

that's when the error occur. at the same time windows tells me, "usb device not recognize". adbdriver tool tells me that the adb driver are installed...
