4.2... okay doesent know that...i've rooted my z1 via Doomkernel + supersu.zip (and yes i forgot to backup ta Partition)

Not sure but when im right, you can root your. 757 firmware direct(look @gregbradley
But if want the old method, then look here.
1. Download a 4.2 firmware
2.flash the whole ftf via flashtool
3.download 360 root tool(when the Name is right?!)
4. Root it via root tool^^
