this may be a stupid question but does this overwrite the stock launcher? i mean since you flash it thru recovery?

I forgot to test. I dont even have Homescreen installed.
It doesn't overwrite, but it doesn't play nice with the stock launcher. For now you'll need to rename the stock launcher (Homescreen.apk) to Homescreen.bak. I'll update the zip to take a backup.
