SO!!! Here is what I did.
I used the ZVC tot Flash using LG Flashtool
I used ioroot25 to root device
downloaded AUTOREC , which auto installs TWRP
found a copy of a twrp recovery I had saved to my pc (includes the efs backup)
transferred it to the twrp file on my phone
flashed it ujsing FLASHIFY
it acted all crazy when it rebooted, but I did a .tot flash again, and whatever partition the efs info was on was recovered by the recovery flash
OBVIOUSLY I had to re root and redo the TWRP install, but WELL WORTH IT!!!
