Hi I recently came upon this tool which roots almost all phones. It gives and option to download freely or to pay for a PRO VERSION. I think its malware or something of that sort. I had never heard of it and i would like other people to confirm that this is too a SCAM and we warn NOOBS from trying to use this.

Here is the link to the Website of the tool:

And The SUPPORTED Devices List

I used it to root my LG My touch Q for free so it does in fact work

Your XDA link says nothing about it being a scam...

But it's not a scam. I went to his official site and downloaded the program, I'm not pirating anything.
It is just not allowed on xda, is all. But his official site and program are legit

Exclamation Blocked as potential malware/virus
I downloaded the "Unlock Root".
My Eset Antivirus blocked it as a potential threat, because it wanted access to the google chrome files, or to open a website. (I don't know). So something is wierd with the program or my antivirus block it though it's not harmful.
This is strange, because Eset is a well-performing antivirus, and it only block real threats. (That's my opinion.)

I really want to use the program but i'm not so sure if it gets blocked,

Also, the download link sends you to "better installer" or some such thing which google blocks as having malware. Something's up with the free download. It didn't used to do that. I think they've been hacked. You can find a torrent withthe serial. Looks to me like rootunlock is no longer developed or supported.
