Default dead mmcblk0

Hi,
What you have to do is (after you created the proper partitions on micro sd, put the e.g. JVU ROM to the phone, cf-roooted):
- using adb put the latest CM9 on the sdcard (you have to su in the shell and remount a folder with rw to be able to copy CM9 into it)
- reboot to recovery
- install CM9
- in CM9 in the system settings/storage you can select the SD card as main storage, after restart you can use camera, music player, etc
Good luck!

Hi,

I have solved this problem in Gingerbread i've installed
es file manager from the google playstore with root priviliges
and edit the vold.fstab file.

now mine external sd card is
running as an internal sd card in gingerbread

when using a Gingerbread ROM, both partitions should be fat32 format , both should be Primary partitions, and make the first partition 2 GB to act as your Internal Phone memory and the rest as your internal storage.

or you can use a custom ROM, that can use Ext 4 format. ( gingerbread cannot use this format.)
