Hello all first post, I hope its relevant. long time reader...

I've had unlimited data since the droidOG through verizon in the US.

I still have the first nexus by verizon.

I am no longer on a contract but have unlimited data. (which I don't want to lose)

I've read lots of post about how Verizon will make you change plans if you make any changes to your account.

I plan to travel to London and Israel in the next few weeks.

I want to have international access. Which I believe I can contact Verizon and have the plan added

Has anyone had unlimited data grandfathered in and needed to have international phone/data, outside of the US.

Any stories thoughts welcome.

thanks

If your grandfathered into a plan more than likely any changes you make will result in loosing current plan. How about just buying a local 'burner' phone each city you go to and leave a message on your Verizon voicemail to contact you at the new number for a week or whatever, may actually be cheaper as international plans tend to be ridiculous in pricing
