SpellCheker and Autocomplete in SPANISH!! 8)

I just updated my QTECK 9100 ESN to ROM version 2.26 but in WWE because the official ROM version 2.18 have issues with WiFi connection as described in other topics.

Since I write all my messages in spanish I had to change the spellcheck and autocomplete feature to spanish.

I followed the steps writen in:

And made the registry modifications according with my spanish files included in the Zip file:


HKCU\ControlPanel\Sip\DictFile = "\Windows\statdict_es.dat" (REG_SZ string, no quotes)
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sip\ProbFile = "\Windows\dictprob_es.dat" (REG_SZ string, no quotes)
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Spell Check\Main_Dict = "\Windows\mssp2_es.lex" (REG_SZ string, no quotes)

I use TotalCommander + wincefs Plugin to put the files into WCE:\Windows\ folder.

I hope this files and tips are usefull to anybody.

BTW the only thing I can't make work is to change the keyboard layout to spanish hard keyboard, i tried to change the registry to this:

HKCU\ControlPanel\Keybd\Locale = 0C0A (REG_SZ string)

but no luck, even after full reboot (Pressing ON button 5 secs)

Can anybody help me with that??

Acabo de actualizar mi Qtek 9100 en español por el ROM 2.26 en WWE, esto debido a que el ROM oficial version 2.18 tiene problemas con el WiFi, ya documentados en este foro.

Logre solucionar el problema del diccionario y el sistema de autocompletar en español sobre una ROM en Ingles:

Segui los pasos de

Con el TotalCommander, pase los archivos contenidos en el ZIP de este mensaje en WCE:\Windows\

Y despues modifique el registro
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sip\DictFile = "\Windows\statdict_es.dat" (REG_SZ string, sin comillas)
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sip\ProbFile = "\Windows\dictprob_es.dat" (REG_SZ string, sin comillas)

You will need to swap \Windows\msim.dll to msimes.dll from a Spanish device. I've explained the reasons for this at, say, http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=98163

Aqui esta la solucion a todos tu problemas usa el archivo con el speller, autocomplete y keyboard layout.

gracias por la informacion , para no complicarme el trabajo , simplemente los renombre y copie a mi pocket , funciona perfectamente :-)
