I'm sure they should work just fine, however, there isn't any tag built to the dimension of the Infuse, I just need to make sure the gold contacts location matches and it fit correctly in the phone.
It look like the receiver for the S4 i9500 may work. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Qi-Wireless-...-/231124647518
The i997 doesn't have wireless charging ports built in like the S3, S4, GN2 or GN3.
Seems like one would need to create a terminal for the receiver.
These two videos show similar wireless charging hack for the i9000. The i997 is similar to the i9000. It looks like the idea is to get a wire from the + pin on the USB port to the back of the battery to connect the copper coil receiver complex.
For the qi, I think you can use any of the receiver available, minding the +/- connectors.
I have not tried it but it does look interesting. The other question I have is whether or not simply connect the +/- on the wireless receiver to the battery's +/- connector will work. It would be simpler to use some copper tape and connect it directly to the battery terminals. If it does work, obviously you can save a lot of hassle bypassing soldering the wire part.
