Hello

I'm completely new to LG (I haven't bought one yet, but I'm planning to)

My previous devices are mostly HTC. Now, my question is, if the device is rooted, can I directly write to /system and flash boot image in recovery? I mean... In HTC there's an annoying thing called "S-ON" which prevents flashing boot image in recovery and the user can't write to system. How does LG's unlocking system work?
