Hi folks, I'm considering buying a used Note 2, but I've read that the 4.3 update has had a negative effect on battery life. Has there been an update since 4.3 which has rectified the problem?

I have used many different custom roms of JB and now KK. By freezing unused apps and hibernating user apps, I get a good battery life.
There are other factors you may need to consider, like the age of the phone since battery degrades through time.
I hope others can provide their opinion, goodluck.
