Default [Q] STOCK !! Converting runtime from Dalvik to ART.

I have converted from dalvik to ART, but can't notice any change. Can anyone suggest which is better if anyone is able to find any of the two better on desire 816, specially in terms of BATTERY. ??

with ART apps wil take 5-7 sec more to install but will open 1-2 sec faster, its still in beta , so not much considerable difference.
but i would prefer ART

So please try to come with the proper answer if you have, else you can leave it happily to be answered by someone else

there is not much real difference is battery life..as it focuses on app performance.

Hi,

I have unlocked my bootloader and rooted it. Used xposed for a lot of customizations also. everythng is fine...except :

1 not able to convert to ART now, it reboots and still stays on dalvik.
2 root uninstaller is not working. cant delete system apps inspite of proper root access.

Kindly give me an idea what is causing this ? Is this the S-ON ? because till now i could not find the S-OFF process for this phone, so i'm unable to S-OFF it.

Thanks
karan

AFAIK, xposed modules are not yet compatible with ART. Xposed framework i guess is based on dalvik. So maybe after the official release of this android L, with official ART, xposed will be updated too.

So my suggestion is stay with dalvik until changes has been made.

However, if you doubt about this, read it from rovo89 himself :
