Default LOW Wifi signal reception on TyTN

Hi everyone!

I´ve got a problem and would like to share my experience with u. I have just bought the HTC TyTN and tested everything, but what I can say is in comparission with some ipaqs I have also owned in the past, the wifi signal reception in the TyTN is very low.

Does anyone know any way 2 improve the wifi singal reception on that model?
Any soft, hardware, change of whatever, ....

Any help or experience would be appreciated.

Thnks in advance.

Speak 2 u soon

WiFi strength is not brilliant. Settings>Connections>Wireless Lan>Power Mode gives a performance option, but I don't see much difference.

Thank u Mike.

You´re right, but that is not what I´m looking for, because as u say, that doens´t make much difference.

Thanks again for your contribution

You're straight outta luck here mate - big phone, lots of stuff to power, more powerful CPU to run + small antenna = lower signal strength.

I find that the device can cope alright though so long as the signal is moderately stable (it could be really weak but as long as it doesn't deteriorate too much too fast, my phone doesn't usually have any issues staying connected).
