i have a few concerns about this note 3 from verizon

1. OTA wont stop updating....wifi, or on network! 12 noon every day it wants me to install kitkat...
2. from what i can tell, kitkat is not working well....something about battery life and the file transfer from sd card to phone does not work right? anything else im missing
3. if i want to keep 4.3, im guessing root is my only option?
4. the phone has some serious lag on sometimes...my tmobile note 3 was smooth and flawless and worked without any issues. is this normal or do i just need to root and install a better rom?

I think it deletes the temp file for the install. If I remember correctly I saw something on xda on disabling the update

i saw something about that but i dont have a "software update" thing in my apps under ALL to disable. unless its called something else SDM only gives option to force stop, but not disable.
