Question ROM upgrades/downgrades using Vista.5744

Can anyone do ROM upgrades/downgrades successfully with Vista.RC2.5744? (regular roms or Radio roms)

Maybe pof could explain this one?

I'm sorry... I don't have Vista and have no idea how is it different from winXP.

I use linux.. and I always do sd-card flashing to flash new roms so I don't have to reboot :P

I have to use my XP box for ROM manipulation on the TyTN. I am assuming this feature is not high on the beat priority list for WMDC.

Vista does NOT work at all for upgrading ROM's. It will go through the connection first, but when it gets to the bootloader, it refuses to reconnect after that, and the installer times out. Only way to do it is with XP/Server 2003. They will fix that in the final build of the WM Device Center.

I have the final the rtm version and it still not works. Try killing mobsync.exe and wmdc.exe and the firewall MSASCui.exe I then got the upgrade menu that shows the current version and the upgrade versions.
