Default Changing the CID

Is there any way to change a CID on the Hermes (specifically the SPV-M3100)?

I've unlocked mine using imei-check but now my telephone operator Orange doesn't recognise my phone for access Orange specific content - which means no 3G TV and Sky Sports... and I was getting them free...

Any ideas would be graefully recieved... I tried searching but nothing came up...

Thanks

This has nothing to do with your CID, it must be another problem.

OKay, well humour me please...

How do I change the CID on an SPV-M3100 to HTSCORANG001 if it is currently different to that?

I've looked at SPVServices but I was having problems running that. Is there an easier option, and if so what is it?

Many thanks

The CID is always 8 chars, but is shown to you encapuslated in HTCS / HTCE blocks, "S" for Start and "E" for End... so you want to change it to ORANG001 not HTCSORANG001.

SPV services won't work on the hermes.

You can use the Hermes free unlocker and it will change your CID to SuperCID which will allow you to flash any rom. Once the radio rom is reflashed you'll be back to your original CID, but I will be providing a solution to fix this soon, just be patient
