I thought I would start by finding that app that ports audio to the BT headset and see what happens when it is used in conjunction with VC16. As stated I don't have much free time so this may not happen for a few days. I am going to update my ROM too and see where that takes me.

Later, Lew

Gotcha - I'm not sure the app is separate but I'm no expert! Here's hoping you solve it!!!!

What registry tweak? Do you mean 1.6 worked w/your BT headset using the 1.5 registry tweak? I used the wiki changes to get rid of the Cyberon thing, and supposedly add BT support but it's behaving as above.

TIA,
Richard

The 1.5 registry tweaks completely disable V1.6. Don't use them. You should wait for the patch from Microsoft...

So I uninstalled VC 1.6 and installed VC 1.5. I spent the last 2 hours searching through all the forums for the necessary registry changes to make the bluetooth headset button trigger voice command.

Here is the registry change:KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/OEM/VoiceCommand/
..Then change the path value to:
\Program Files\Voice Command\voicecmd.exe

But.........
I am not finding any path whatsoever in that location (windows\skdialer.exe) on my Cingualr 8525 that can be changed to "\Program Files\Voice Command\voicecmd.exe"

Am i blind??? Please help
