New Rom Available

There is a new ROM available for the Qtek 8500 (distributed by Dangaard)!!!

ROM 1.02.251.1 -> 3.06.251.1

Radio Version 4.1.13.17_02.32.31 -> 4.1.13.28_02.67.30

Have installed this to my CID unlocked 8500 just fine. Not noticed any thing new and wonderful.

Only change that is notable is the date format on the external display that now does DD/MM/YYYY (Europe).

you dont need perrmission, just use xda as login info

Ok the rom is now in the Uploads/Star Trek directory of the FTP.

where is the cid unlock

There is no free way of CID unlocking the 8500.

http://www.imei-check.co.uk/f600unlock.php is the only place to get it done at the moment, costs £20 (28.00 EUR or 38.00 USD), take 5 minutes unlocks the SIM lock and CID locks.

I got a QTEK 8500 Bought in The Netherlands... Will it install ???

If its CID unlocked you can install this rom, if not you can't.

Just try, the worst that can happen is a vendor id error !
