I don't mean to take this thread off-topic, but could this hack work on any other HTC devices, specifically the Tornado? I am currently using the Tornado A2DP hack, but I'd really like better audio quality and range. TIA.

Attached is version 03. This version should route the audio correctly and mute the built in speaker. This version is no longer using the HTC_PCM_Routing dll and is now using a custom dll. By using a custom dll I have complete control over the processing and can pass the multiple IO control calls need to get the audio routed. You may notice a funny icon in the phone app while audio is routed, I think this is tty mode (not sure), but, it works to do what I needed. Also, I have not messed with Voice Command activation yet, but, I do think that should be possible. I have not hard-reset tested this cab so please let me know if there are any issues. I also moved serial5 to serial9, so you may have to manually delete the serial 5 driver keys. After installing the cab if it does not work correctly, make sure the widcomm/plugins/handsfree/audiosetupdll says SD_PCM_ROUTING.dll

I'll also attach that dll separately for those who just want to replace the key and dll.

One note, the audio routing is full time, once activated all audio all the time will be routed.

,Dave

Edit: State management has been corrected, updated to v.03.

serios problem: tried to install new cab. install manager asks me to deinstall old version, I click OK, device hangs up, old version is not deleted. How can I manually deinstall the old cab? ..system...remove programs is not working either.

edit: managed to deinstall manually. new cab is working

Default got this working on Wizard, kind of...

A2DP works nicely on Wizard with these files but now... anyone know how to switch on my Wizard again as it no longer wakes up to the power button, my music just keeps going... Gonna try to switch off my S35...

nah didn't work... had to use the reset button...

still it is good news for me, now just how to we unmute the built in speakers when we don't use the headset???

Default version 2 unable to start

installed version 2 of this stack
It won't start at all.
Device promts me of unsufficient memory to load driver every time I try to start BT (even after soft reset with stylus).
So I cannot try this new version at all.

Default correction

A2DP works 100% fine on the Wizard with these files..

1) I can put the system on standby and the music continues to play.
2) When I turn off bluetooth the sounds are redirected back to speakers.
3)of course the sound quality is good..

Now, I wonder if file transfers still work or not... got to try to confirm this and pop back to Wizard forum...

Thanks SuperDave!

Version .03 runs on my Trinity. Don't get the memory problem anymore.

The bluetooth icon is blue.

But the blue led is not working and I can't find any devices.
The logfile stated that the stack is loaded "ok".

Has somebody any idea why the Widcomm stack says bluetooth is "On", but it is not visible and can't discover anything?

I am sure port 7 is the right port.
Other ports gave memory issues.

Could the bautrate cause this problem?
