Default Tasks plugin ?

we have the calendar plugin which essentially forgives us if we forget about a meeting

HOWEVER, the "tasks" list which is meant for those who tend to forget whats on the daily agenda, is NOT a plugin . one would have to remember to go and open the tasks list to check if there are any tasks to be done.

anyway getting it to the home screen ?
also you can sort tasks by "due time" "priority" and other factors , though i have not seen how do i set "due time" or "priority" or anything else other than the text itself ...

thanks guys for the help .
