SD card mistake! (data lost)

I had the following problem:
1: something deleted every files and folders from my card during one night.
2: something changed the a couple folder names to: ∙−Ö and made this folders empty. Plus I was not able to delete this kind of folders. I had to format the whole card.

Any Idea what is it?

Try to insert SD Card in to Card Reader, and check card "chkdsk D: /F /R" (where D: - is you letter of SD Card)

Already happened to me several times...You have to format and reeinstall all ...after that i always make a backup of my sd. I noticed that happened more often after a sync and when i stoped the the sync. I unnistalled spb insight and after that never happened again dont know if u have it too...i didnt noticed any more coincidence...but i think it happened before that too

So tha case is not cleared yet...

Ever someone tried to contact HTC support? At least they must be aware of that...
