T-Mobile MDA Update to 15097.3.0.0 or Higher

I am kind of new to this so forgive me if this is a stupid question but:

The only thing that I need to update is to update WM5 to version 15097.3.0.0 or higher to be able to use MS Voice Command 1.6

Question:
Is there a way to do this with a G4 locked phone.

If I get T-Mobile to unlock it to use in another country, is that the same "UnlocK" that is required to upgrade the phone.

That rom on there is good for doing exactly that and is the safest option for a G4 user make sure you do in fact have a G4.
I have voice command 1.6 running perfectly on that

Everyone says to check for 2.21.0001, this is 2.26.0001. I am assuming by the 4 leading digits after the decimal that it is indeed a G4.

I will check out that link, thank you VERY much.
(It is the bluetooth whisper feature that doesn't work with the current version.)

The ROM in the very first post in that thread the one you mean? When starting it, it mentions like version 1.2 - just wanted to make sure. Thank you!

I know that this forum is for the G4, but is there a G3 ROM that'll update my build of Windows Mobile to 15097.3.0.0 or higher? Thanks!
