That "optimized" version seems to work great. I've been using cLaunch since... well, let's just say before the current version (which came out in January 2004!!!). While I had no issues with PPC2003, I had the failure-to-launch bug with WM5, which just got worse (as in it NEVER launched correctly) in WM6. I'd found that simply going to the "Items" page of the Today setup (without changing anything) would get it to load, but as you can imagine, even this was annoying. This fix makes me very, very happy.

I'm curious though... what changes were made that got it to work?

It will be an item in your "Today" settings. (Start -- Settings -- Today -- Items tab). Simply check (select) the cLaunch application, and it will show up.

my original stupid question:
anyone know where the config settings are stored? Looked in registry, program files, windows, etc. to no avail. Would like to be able to "backup" my config for hard reset.

Here's a modified v12.04 cLaunch.dll for use with square screen devices.

I used PE Explorer to open the DLL and modify the size settings of the interface. no modifications to functionality performed.

claunch (WM6 optimized version : http://letez.com/downloads/cLaunch_wm6.exe) generally works great and is fun to putz with.

But ... The "Main" or the first tab does not display anything. If I uncheck it so that it does not display, the next tab displays fine as do the others. It is just the first tab giving me fits.

Any thoughts?
