WM5 AKU 3.3 Rom for G3 & G4 Wizards (includes Crossbow stuff and many enhancements)

Okay, here's the scoop:

This ROM is to be considered BETA, it is provided as is.

It is the real deal, Windows Mobile 5 AKU 3.3 OS Rom. Nothing grafted from AKU 2.x

There are no IPL, SPL, Radio or Splash Screens.

BE SURE YOU ALREADY HAVE 2.x IPL/SPL & RADIO ROM ON YOUR DEVICE BEFORE FLASHING THIS ROM.

ALL Applications and installers are integrated directly into the Rom so G4 Users can use this one without problems. The Extended Rom does have a Carrier Settings Utility and a couple of extras but othing that is critical to the operation of the Rom. If you have a G4 which won't allow the Extended Rom to write don't worry you will be fine.

Any posts in this thread asking about CID unlocking WILL BE MODERATED.

Note: My Wizard has been unlocked since the day after I bought it but it is my understanding that you can flash cooked Roms which have no bootloader (like this one) WITHOUT CID Unlocking. If you try the worst that will happen is you need to reflash with an official Rom from your Carrier.

Apparently G4 Devices do need to be CID Unlocked.

Use this thread wisely, No CID Unlocking or how do I flash this Rom questions. If you don't know this already then you need to read before attempting to flash any Rom.

DO NOT send me 5 million PMs asking for more features or some inside scoop. I've provided everything I have.

Unless they reveal themselves, I will not disclose who was involved in this project or where I got the Rom.

Known Issues with this ROM:

APPLICATIONS:

TodayAgenda is v0.9.20, get updated version here. Note: You must install and then uninstall to get the Rom to forget about the embedded version then install again to be able to use.

OPERATION:

Storage Card Mount on boot seems slower (like it is mounted later in the boot process)

I will do my best to keep this post updated as issues are reported and confirmed.

My cellular provider is shown as a number (6 digits) when using this ROM. Is this normal? Or can this be fixed? Just a minor issue, I know, but just looks unusual! BTW, this ROM is FASTTTTTTTT!!!

will try this tonight on my G3 Cingular unlocked 8125. I'm also investigating the WM6 Crossbow rom as well.

Is there a recomended radio for this release? There have been some posts regarding missed calls with the 2.25.11 and 2.47.11 radios with the recommendation to use 02.19.11. Any opinion here?

I have three issues that I have found so far if someone has any insight into them...

1. My cellular provider shows as a 6-digit number instead of "sunCom".
2. I cannot get my WiFi card to "work". In Comm Manager, the "X" will not go away.
3. My storage card is not recognized.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

And I cannot believe how fast this ROM is. Very nice job!!!!
