Default GPS Driver

Attached is a first release of a gps proxy driver. The driver goes in between the RIL and serial command to allow another incoming connection. To install import reg keys, copy the driver over to windows, restart and manualy start the ports. COM6 first then RIL. The driver is not signed so you will need to manually start it, TaskMgr works good for this. This is intentional until it tested.

After installation and starting the devices. Connect to COM6 with your terminal app or gps software and the gps stream will start. If it doesn't start the first time, try closing then reopening the connection.

The GPS information is parsed out of the stream for the GPS connection and the radio data is parsed out for the RIL.

A GPS radio stack is required.

Please report any errors, and only use this if you know what your doing. If your concerned about doing a hard reset, dont use this. I have not had to.
This is experimental.

,Dave

EDIT:
Thanks for all the testing, this driver seems to be ready for production. At this point until we make gains with the hardware no further testing is needed. Just to be clear, there is no point installing this unless your just curious to see the process. The GPS hardware is not currently working in the Hermes.

Nope, just going to devices, scrolling down to $device\COM6(COM6) starting it. Then starting $device\RIL1(RIL1).

Do you get any errors?
