Default Cyclic Redundancy Check

i'm about to die.

whenever i copy files to my 4gb mini sd[only2 recognised for some reason. still fixing that.] it days "cannot copy file "xxxxxxx":data error [cyclic redundancy check].

ugh.

sometimes it randomly works.

other times it doesnt.

i dont get it.

i know the error itself is when the original checksum and the checksum copied to the card are different but how do i fix it?!

any help would be much appreciated.

that's the error one usualy gets when using a cd or dvd with a scratch on the surface. it looks like your medium (in this case the sd card) is damaged. try with an other card, you should see that error anymore.

back up as much data as you can from the bad card asap!
