new qtek rom kind of buggy with a2dp? or is it WM5?

anyone else with the newest qtek rom using stereo bluetooth headphones? when i pause media player (with the phone open or from the external controls) things stop fine. when i start from the external buttons, music plays thru the speaker instead of the headphones. i have to disable and reenable the bluetooth connection to get to the music flowing again. i haven't noticed the issue if media player is stopped and started with the flip open. any thoughts?
i was thinking it was hardware related to the external buttons, but the buttons control everything fine, until the phone has been folded up for an hour or so,and then i try and use the external buttons (after i unlock the buttons, since i keep them locked and unlock them as needed).
