No SMS Delivery reports

Hi,

i have searched many sites looking for the answer but cannot find it. I have a new 750v from vodafone, but there is no option for sms delivery notifications under messaging options as it states in the user manual. there is an option for mms delivery reports, but not for sms. I have tried the registry fix in the forum for other wm5 devices, but to no avail.

Any ideas?

his is what we have on ppc-phones. maybe the setup is similar

Use a registry editor and go to:
HKCU\control panel\notifications\default\options

change the dword value to whatever suits your needs.

here are the following dword value and corresponding results:
0 - show icon
1 - show icon and play notification sound
2 - show icon and vibration
3 - show icon and vibration and play notification sound
4 - same as 0
5 - same as 1
6 - same as 3
7 - same as 3
8 - show icon and notification bubble
9 - show icon and play notification sound and show notification bubble
10 - show icon and notification bubble and vibration
11 - show icon and play notification sound and show notification bubble and vibration

I set mine to 4

That's very odd. I'm using a treo with a vodafone rom & it's the other way around. I can set delivery notifications for sms but the same setting on mms is blank???

BTW I'm using the following...

SW ver. : TREO750-1.15-VFE
HW ver. : A
FW ver. : 1.12.0a.00

The treo I have is unlocked.

Yep thats the same here. I have the option for sms, for mms it is blank too.
I do have a 750v and unlocked.

I dont want the Icon !!

Anyone have any idea how I remove the icon from new sms received ? All the dwords suggested has the icon, and I don´t want it.
