Default WM6 dialpad question...

My phone is the hermes spv m3100.

When I press Green (call button) I get taken to a dial pad where I can enter the name or number of the person to call (same as WM5) but with WM6 a lot of the top of the screen is filled with "UTMS Orange".

Is there a way to get rid of this as I don't really see the point with it?

Thanks
Mark

You should only have 20 pixels from the TOP to the DailNumber Slots. If you do not like what is being displayed, Do this:

1. Create a 120x20 pixel gif with anything you want and place it under /windows folder in your device. Now you have that image displayed on the Top part of the Dailer.
2. Soft Reset

NOW TO SHOW NOTHING, Do this:
-----------------------------------------
1. Download the attached image (The transparency color is a weird pink color so instead of explaining it, I decided to create and attach it.)
2. Place it in your device windows folder.
3. Soft Reset

Thanks for this. Is it not possible to remove this all together and have the space above keypad fully used for displaying the contacts as you type a number?

Thanks

I think if you install one of the tytn diallers it will revert to the WM5 layout and smartdialler.

Default Color or digits entered

Hello !
I'v installed a new ROM today, and I've just a little problem.
In my phone pad, when I enter digits, the color of the digits is not right for me (dark green instead of blank).
Have someone a idea to change this ? I tried a themen manager, but no chance to change properties in the phone manages.

Thanks
