WM6 messaging shortcut key mappings

Does anyone know what the reg keys are to modify the messaging app to use letters instead of numbers for shortcuts. e.g. to delete a message you need to hold '7', but on the Hermes you can hold 'd'. Holding '0' on the hermes shows all letters for the shortcuts, on the WM6 excalibur it shows numbers.

On my Pantech Duo, holding 0 brings up the shortcut list
