Default NOKIA E61 Softbank X01NT

As a proud owner of the unlocked Nokia E-61 PRE-softbank X01NT (end of March).
I would like to start this thread to share information and assistance with other users.

I have a Softbank phone (new line) and use the USIM card at times in the Nokia E61 and it works fine. (remember mine is unlocked and bought direct from Nokia Japan)

Bilingual and so much to learn and share about this model.

Cheers!

Default when and where?

Can you give me some more details if you have them on when this phone will go onsale in Japan (by softbank). Also where did you buy and unlocked one (nokia shop or online?) how much was it? How locked do you think the softbank version will be?

any other advice?

i plan to switch from docomo to softbank this month and am wondering if i should wait for this phone.

Smile Nokia unlocked E61

I bought my unlocked bilingual NOKIA from the NOKIA shop in Aoyama.
Use my SIM card from Softbank and no problemo!
Internet, phone -- it is all there and no headaches of the X01HT bs.

I still use my softbank phone when i want but can just pop the SIM card out and into my Nokia E61.

I was very surprised to see that Softbank is not selling the E61 like they said they would.

I really like the Nokia model and totally bilingual!

Default sms with unlocked nokia

I also just got an unlocked nokia e-61 from the nokia Japan online store. It's great to have everything in English and to have an ENglish manual (available online). But I can't get the sms to work. Some number is needed. Any advice?
