Installed Apps when upgrade to WM6

I've searched in the Wiki. But nothing said about when update to WM6 - do I have to reinstall every Apps on my current WM5. I though WM6 is more like an upgrade, therefore all existing registries will be keep ?.

If reinstall Apps required- then is there a better way to reinstall all Apps since there are many WM6 version out there that I would like to try ....

It is exactly the same as flashing a new ROM, you lose all data. Your apps will need installing again and make sure to backup all your data.
