is there a NORTON GHOST-like program for pocket pc ? a software that will allow me to create a total image of my sd card and rom so i can restore it later ? thanks

I suppose any backup software could get it. I use HP backup to backup the whole data. I even could restore them after hard reset to continue using as before. So I suppose it should be like Ghost thing totally.

so how excatly do i backup my phone ?

Spbclone will do the card, but I don't think it will do the ROM

Incidently, whatever happened to the backup/restore function which was in the early Activesync software? Why did MS leave it out?

yeah the spbclone only do a file like backup (no rom backup) if you want a rom backup with the apps inside you will cook the rom
