WOuld it be possible to just have two cabs on my device, one for UK and one for AU, and just run whichever one I want to use before I make the call?
Anyone? I know I could just try it myself, but wondered if anyone else has tried yet...

K. Tried myself. Use Sipgate in UK and Pennytel in Australia. Created two cabs, one for each provider. Installed Sipgate, went online to sipgate website, status reported I was connected, tried a web call, and my hermes rang. Installed pennytel cab, went to pennytel website, said I was connected, did web callback, hermes rang. sorted

Default New to this and have problems

Hi,

I have T-Mobile Dash with WM6.1 Kavana. I have installed everything as outline in the beginning of this thread. It appears that I have sucessfuly installed everything and voip provisioning cab was installed successfuly.
We have SIP Pbx so I am trying to connect to it for now since I can see what is going on. When I on Wifi, I can see that my Dash is getting registered with SIP Server fine, but when I try to call, I get 3 short beeps and "call eneded". I can not call neither local extensions nor outside numbers. When I try to call my Dash via SIP, it rings and shows caller ID, but when I try answer, I can not hear anything and call times out. I did enable 5060 in registry with no result. The SIP server is functional we have been using it for over 2 years with SNoms and X-Lite on PC. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Thank you,

i have installed this and configured for voipstunt. But it only writes as "Searching" on Today screen. Am i doing something wrong?

And btw which voip do you prefer? I am in Turkey, any other users that have no problem here?

I have found that searching also means you are ready to make a voip call.

In Turkey your best choice would be www.biri.com.tr (Koc.net)
Their SIP service is good.

You can also ask other local operators.

Lightbulb Fring

Hey
Ive been trying to make voip work for months but no luck with the cabarc method, so i searched for it and found fring, is a lot easier because it just asks for your sip username, password and proxy
Sorry if its already been said...
