Contacts Back up cab
I'm currently using the MB rom and am thinking of going back to Excelins rom, does any one have the cab for contacts backup?
all of the WM6 roms seem to have a huge memory leak throughout the day. I have to soft reset every day, where I almost never had to with Execlins rom.
Thanks,
Mike

This has been posted numerous times. Please search. There is a thread in the Wizard Upgrading forum that is on the best freeware and I think its in that one. There is a thread in the Wizard forum on the must have software and I think its in that one. Search for my posts (but there are a ton) as I've posted it fairly recently here. I'd post it now but for some reason I'm getting an error trying to upload it, so just search.

Thanks, but I've searched many time before posting. I've been on the forum a while and have only 4 post since I ususally find everything in threads. I found cabs for other back up programs but an looking for the one included in Faria and MB roms.
If any one can post a link or upload the cab.
Thanks,

I read these forums constantly, over the last year or so, they have been a huge help...you all have been a huge help. When I first started with XDA, I was most definitely a noob when it came to flashing phones...now I'm cooking my own ext_roms and working on my first full ROM.
I can't believe that I'm the only one not having all of these issues that so many have reported with WM6. I'm running Faria's WM6 (The Real Thing) with the 2.61.11 radio and after making a few reg changes (power saving, gprs performance, etc.), my MDA is more stable and faster than it ever was running any WM5 ROM. In fact, the only bug I seem to have remaining on my phone now is if I soft-reset while connected to a USB charger, it hangs on restart. Other than that, all is well.
I can go two days now before I need to recharge...by the end of the second day, I'm at about 20% remaining on my battery. My GPRS is always on as I have push email enabled. I am always surfing the net and/or streaming music and/or utilizing yahoo maps or dexonline. On average, I receive between 25 and 60 emails and between 20 and 40 five minute calls per day. I don't use Bluetooth or WiFi much, so maybe that's why my battery lasts so long?
Thanx.

Some issues I have that promted me to thinkabout going back
With xelencin and even Molskis 3.3AKU rom I didnt have these probelms to this extent. Some of the issues that I've had are:
Memeory drain. At the begining of a soft rest 25.7M free. By the end of the day after closing all apps- 18.2M. With xelencin and even Molskis 3.3AKU rom I didnt have this kind of drain after one day of use.
Lag in Apps opening and switching with multiple programs open.
Battery drain even with the HTC power management cab installed. With Wifi on for half a day, battery doesnt last a full day.
These are jsut some of the items that have me thinking of going back to WM5. I like all the apps and features included with the newest WM6 roms, so I would like to try to incorporate them into xelencin last rom.
With that said, ALL the COOKs of WM6 roms have done a great job. I appriciate all the options that they have given us to try.

Keep walking and you´ll find the CAB you want!
Start in Wizard forum by looking on that right icon with a clip format
You find all CABS attached and related to that thread.
Regards.

Are you running BatteryStatus 1.04.200 Beta 2? If so upgrade to 1.04.201 Beta 3 and this problem will go away. I had that exact same problem and its gone after I upgraded
