Ipl/spl 3.08.. how?

Can we use the IPL/SPL 3.08 for our non-german ROM?

besides the only german in that ROM is the OS i dont think that the IPL/SPL are also german..

Anyone tried? or any experts knows if its possible?

if installed aku 3.3 from tmobile...with IPL/SPL 3.08 works gr8!

as far as i know its possible..

besides, if you install the whole german AKU 3.3 ROM youll have the APL/SPL 3.09 then try to flash your fav Crossbow ROM.

You know have a WM6 + The New Radio + The new SPL/IPL,,

just a thought.. havent tried it my self..

where did you find that ipl/spl ? I would be willing to test this to see if anything german remains... ( live in germany, using custom non-german wm6roms)

any link/info to where i can get that ipl/spl would be highly appreciated.

Are you also trying to flash WM6 with that latest IPL/SPL? if so then please post a feedback..

I did, twice already and works. I created an updater with the Radio and IPL/SPL + the Xplorer splash. File's called xpl and is on my folder.

Can you post the IPL/SPL here please..
i tried to extract it but i think its corrupted..

it gives me an ipl of 2kb and spl of 700+kb..

is that right?

I have never cooked a ROM with the IPL/SPL or the GSM Radio included and in readiness of Faria's updated Real Thing I thought I would download the German AKU 3.3 and extract the IPL/SPL from it. However there are 4 files:

90000000-IPL_1.nb 2KB
90000000-IPL_2.nb 2KB
91000000-SPL_1.nb 768KB
91000000-SPL_2.nb 768KB

I am attempting to cook them with the 'nb2nbf_wizard.exe' but don't know which ones to use (they are exactly the same size however?).

Can I just create a ROM that has only the IPL/SPL & GSM and no OS?

Yes you can..

Just choose one for IPL and SPL..
those are just the same, either or you choose the 1 or the 2..
