Nobbie Question : Upgrade

Hello Folks,
I have a Imate K-Jam device.

IPL/SPL = 2.16

its loaded with WM5.

can i use any xplore 1.1 to upgrade to wm6..

i tried ferias but nothing changed it just formatec my entire phone and i lost all data and one more thing abt that is it actually errored out when the phone started saying autconfigure.exe not found..

wat should i do....
