Gap between today items

Hi,

Is it possible to change the gap betweeen the items on the today screen ?

Just wanted to bump this thread since I've got a similar problem.

When I've booted up It all looks great with extra space for the two-row-formated date.
But after awhile the space goes back to some sort of standard setting and half of the bottom line is, for a lack of a better word, "croped".

Anyone else got this problem ... or better yet, a sulotion?
