Error : Valid Vender ID

Can someone please explain to me how to solve this problem...
everytime i wanna upgrade my windows mobile, it goes into bootmode,
and after 1 % it says ERROR : VALID VENDER ID..

Your device is cid locked. You haev to unlock. For wizard lokwiz0.3b is working. I think for herald also. Just look some posts below how to solve

lokwiz doesnt work with my herald...so nobody knows how to cid unlock a htc herald ?

Even the paid imei.check.uk DIDN´T work for my XDA terra?????!!!!!!!

I gad several email contact and at least i tried it under - VISTA

AND IT WORKED.

Not under XP but Vista.

So Herald is unlocked
