De-install the WindowsLive mail account from pOutlook.
Re-add it.
In the setup, be sure to UNCHECK the box to sync contacts. Choose only to sync emails.

Well, I guess this all assumes that you have an email account as well as a messenger account, but it should work for you.

I cannot seem to be able to "remove/delete" the Live Messenger Mail account from the accounts tab? By holding on the "Windows Live" account the delete option is greyed out How did you do it?

Im using CUSTEL 1.3 ROM atm with its built in Live Messenger. Does it only apply to the Live Messenger Final cab posted?
